A great place to have an outdoor wedding in Downtown Madison is on the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art's rooftop. Bucky's Rentals is the exclusive tent rental company for private events at the MMoCA. The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art’s stunning new building provides a wedding setting that’s almost as beautiful as the bride. The rooftop sculpture garden, lobby, and lecture hall, and Fresco dining room may be combined in a number of ways, offering couples one of the most unique venues in Madison. Celebrate your outdoor wedding ceremony on the rooftop, then move downstairs for an hour-long champagne toast in the lobby or a tour of the galleries before heading back upstairs for an afternoon lunch or an evening of dining and dancing under the stars. During quiet times, the lobby can also provide an exquisite venue for a wedding ceremony or reception. Fresco’s dining room is readily available during non-dinner hours or may be bought out for evening events. With light maple wood paneling and bright red theatre-style chairs, the museum’s lecture hall also offers a lovely ceremony site and functions as a cozy weather backup for rooftop ceremonies that would prefer an indoor space over a tent.
